Black Lives Matter

The African Artists Association is outraged by the recent murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. This is the latest in a series of deplorable killings that are the result of long-standing and systemic racism.

Our organization has a proud 11-year history of serving our members, as well as the broader creative community, with critical resources that advocates for and celebrates the artistic cultural representation of people of African heritage.

We stand in solidarity with you, we see you, and we support the Black Lives Matter movement. We commit to continue our work, and we welcome any feedback for additional ways in which we may support black communities.
