Yolonda Brinkley, CEO of YRB International Exposure-a boutique marketing communications firm specializing in sports and entertainment is an Illinois MBA with extensive event planning, public relations & social media management experience. She holds a BA from Clark Atlanta University & is fluent in French with international experience.
Yolonda has established herself as a valuable resource within the branded entertainment community. During her corporate tenure, she fostered relationships with fortune 500 companies and other notable organizations including Nike (Jordan Brand), Jim Beam (Courvoisier), Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation (Russell Simmons), Magic Johnson Enterprises, New Jersey Nets, Madison Square Garden, Sybase Golf Tournament and Black Enterprise Magazine.
As an entrepreneur, the momentum continues. Since 2008, Yolonda has managed events for the NAACP Hollywood Bureau (Image Awards), the Hollywood Black Film Festival and Filmmakers Alliance. She’s worked with Director, Bill Duke, Writer, Doreen Spicer and TD Jakes Films and Entertainment. She’s produced a mini documentary for an NFL player, a short film and a web-series.
Yolonda constantly creates opportunities for herself and is making a global impact as the creator of the Beyond Borders: Diversity in Cannes Filmmaker Symposium and the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase and Awards. Created to ensure the preservation of the underrepresented story at the Cannes Film Festival, both initiatives provide a platform for diverse filmmakers to showcase their work, expand their international network and explore global co-production opportunities.
