Constance Ejuma

Actress

Constance Ejuma is an award-winning actress and producer. Born in Cameroon and raised in the Washington DC area, she started acting in her teens and went on to study theater at the University of Toronto. She later attended Leicester University in England where she received a master’s degree in Mass Communications.

Constance has credits in theatre, film, television and commercials and her work has given her the opportunity to collaborate with prolific artists like Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka and Academy Award Nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Constance is best known for Ben & Ara a feature film which she starred in and produced. She had a role in Marvel’s Black Panther as a Dora Milaje warrior for which she received a SAG Award. This led to her being cast as an African Warrior Queen in the Jennifer Lopez music video for the hit single El Anillo. Her television credits include a recurring role in TNT's Proof as well as guest star roles on Scorpion, Monk and Eagleheart. She has produced and starred in several short films and web series including The German King, Yemi's Dilemma and Con$equences.

She performed a one woman show about the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon titled 'Ghost Town' at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
